After a defensive mix-up in YouShallNotPass's zone, Duffield Fortington stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Pfingst came out of the goal and Duffield Fortington tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barnes Mosley lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Westside Cogs! The goalkeeper, Luck Holdsworth, was totally fooled by YouShallNotPass's Boyd Tarrant, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Alexander Leyden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Parker Lunt kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Westside Cogs's Luck Holdsworth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lawrence Howarth in the 30th minute of play. Luck Holdsworth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lawrence Howarth, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Roland Pfingst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boyd Gannan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brynn Pearse got free with Luck Holdsworth in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boyd Gannan to make the kick off. With a little luck, YouShallNotPass's Roland Pfingst got control of the ball when Boyd Gannan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roland Pfingst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ben Eicke in the 55th minute. If Boyd Gannan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, YouShallNotPass's Bryson Whitsitt got a free kick in the 64th minute. Boyd Gannan in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Boyd Gannan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Roland Pfingst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Parker Lunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lawrence Howarth in the 93rd minute of play forced Westside Cogs's goalkeeper Luck Holdsworth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
