When Rudolph Oconnell fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Henrietta's protests and gave Rudolph Oconnell a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Henrietta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolph Oconnell to maneuver through the defense. Lauder Guy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lance Playford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Henrietta's zone, Lauder Guy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lance Playford came out of the goal and Lauder Guy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rudolph Oconnell hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Lauder Guy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Lauder Guy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lauder Guy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauder Guy in the 40th minute of play forced Henrietta's goalkeeper Lance Playford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lauder Guy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lance Playford having to make a save. Henrietta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Lauder Guy scored to the left of an out of position Lance Playford, making the score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Alexander Starling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lauder Guy might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lance Playford. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lauder Guy ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 61 minutes, Lauder Guy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Cliff Gavin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Henrietta's supporters rose to their feet, but Cliff Gavin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kyle Heathwood breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ernest Hilton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 87 in the game by Cliff Gavin from a close distance when the talented Kyle Heathwood managed to make a qualified save. Arsenal Academy's players were relieved. Cliff Gavin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Kyle Heathwood made a huge save. Lance Playford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Hilton in the 95th minute of the match. Henrietta's Cliff Gavin got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arsenal Academy were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Henrietta to leave the ground with a draw.
