Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dale Mewburn got the match started through his kick off. When Dale Mewburn came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Kamikazes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dale Mewburn couldn't finish the play. After 8 minutes, Larry Mcquoid mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boynedale and the Kamikazes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Boynedale:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kamikazes:s goal. After having played for 11 minutes, Dale Mewburn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kamikazes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dale Mewburn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Duncan Flesfader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac Telfer hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Isaac Telfer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kamikazes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fabian Block showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobie Clinton in the 27th minute of the match. Dale Mewburn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Handley Fieldhouse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Loud Chant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jones Bailey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Loud Chant managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Boynedale's Handley Fieldhouse fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Kamikazes booed when Boynedale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duncan Flesfader didn't get a good kick on the ball. Handley Fieldhouses short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Loud Chant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Kamikazes's zone, Duncan Flesfader stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loud Chant came out of the goal and Duncan Flesfader tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 41 minutes of play, Boynedale's Handley Fieldhouse made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loud Chant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Handley Fieldhouse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loud Chant having to interfere. Jones Bailey struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Loud Chant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boynedale. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Handley Fieldhouse to strike the kick off in the second half. Handley Fieldhouse struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Loud Chant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boynedale. The audience was convinced that Handley Fieldhouse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Loud Chant was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Loud Chant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Handley Fieldhouse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duncan Flesfader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loud Chant having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Handley Fieldhouse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andy Clarke kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Handley Fieldhouse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loud Chant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 82 minutes into the match, Boynedale's Handley Fieldhouse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loud Chant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benjy Peplow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Handley Fieldhouse struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Loud Chant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boynedale. Boynedale's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
