Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dale Mewburn got the match started through his kick off. Dale Mewburn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyle Heathwood having to interfere. Isaac Telfer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Kyle Heathwood made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, Arsenal Academy's goalkeeper Kyle Heathwood had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dale Mewburn. Dale Mewburn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute Dale Mewburn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyle Heathwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Dale Mewburn took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Kyle Heathwood to make any attempt to save it. Nichol Notley hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Arsenal Academy's Kyle Heathwood proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal Academy from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Arsenal Academy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kamikazes:s goal. When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, Kamikazes's Jesse Maunsell got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kyle Heathwood. After having played for 42 minutes, Andy Clarke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kamikazes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andy Clarke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Dale Mewburn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kyle Heathwood was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lauder Guy was the one to do the kick off. Cregan Worrall hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 56th match minute, Arsenal Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Jackson to maneuver through the defense. Brayden Legg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dale Mewburn struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Kyle Heathwood didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kamikazes. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal Academy's zone, Brayden Legg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kyle Heathwood came out of the goal and Brayden Legg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dale Mewburn charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dale Mewburn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ernest Hilton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernest Hilton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Loud Chant made a huge save. 87 minutes into the game, Ernest Hilton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kamikazes the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Brayden Legg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kamikazes's supporters rose to their feet, but Brayden Legg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kyle Heathwood breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Andy Clarke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kamikazes had played much better football throughout.
