Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lauder Guy kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Arsenal Academy getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Cregan Worrall hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal Academy's zone, Brent Lonergan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kyle Heathwood came out of the goal and Brent Lonergan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lauder Guy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kyle Heathwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danton Awage in the 14th minute of play. Kyle Heathwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danton Awage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Brent Lonergan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kyle Heathwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danton Awage, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danton Awage in the 31st minute of play forced Arsenal Academy's goalkeeper Kyle Heathwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danton Awage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kyle Heathwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danton Awage in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kyle Heathwood prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

51 minutes into the game, Danton Awage cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kyle Heathwood was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th match minute, Arsenal Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Heys to maneuver through the defense. Stew Lovis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Hilton in the 59th minute of play. Dacosta Mcgaw's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kyle Heathwood firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Brent Lonergan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The long shot by Rusty Shearn in the 64th minute really tested Kyle Heathwood's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Arsenal Academy's Nichol Notley got a free kick in the 67th minute. After some careless play in the Arsenal Academy defense, Danton Awage kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kyle Heathwood. The Arsenal Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kyle Heathwood should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Rockwell getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ace Bennett hit a great ball. When Ernest Hilton came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Arsenal Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Hilton couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the game, Brandon Peplow was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rockwell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal Academy the free kick. In the 78th minute, Brandon Peplow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Arsenal Academy's goalkeeper Kyle Heathwood, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Nichol Notley fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arsenal Academy's protests and gave Nichol Notley a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Arsenal Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nichol Notley to maneuver through the defense. If Brent Lonergan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kyle Heathwood made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Brent Lonergan sent off a good shot on target. After 92 minutes, Danton Awage mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rockwell and the Arsenal Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Rockwell got a freekick which was hit by Danton Awage. Lauder Guy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stew Lovis having to interfere. Rockwell's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
