Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abbott Babbage got the match started through his kick off. Danton Awage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Arne Collins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Brent Lonergan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Danton Awage's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Collins was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kogarah Reds's goalkeeper Arne Collins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brent Lonergan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Arne Collins made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Kogarah Reds's zone, Danton Awage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Collins came out of the goal and Danton Awage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rockwell's Stew Lovis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradford Mckay in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danton Awage to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, Rockwell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rusty Shearn to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute of the match Olin Mckinnes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stew Lovis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Brent Lonergan kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rdth minute of the game Danton Awage who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kogarah Reds's Arne Collins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brent Lonergan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danton Awage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Arne Collins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Kogarah Reds. Olin Mckinnes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stew Lovis. 3-2. After a rather tough play, Kogarah Reds's Alvin Jobson got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Danton Awage ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arne Collins was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Danton Awage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Arne Collins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danton Awage in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne Collins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rockwell had played much better football throughout.
