Homewood's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kamikazes the free kick. Dale Mewburn struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Gregory Conlin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kamikazes. 0-1 became the score in the 13th minute when Benard Howarth elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Homewood's Lauder Chapman got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Benard Howarth kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes, Homewood's Britton Baptiste shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Loud Chant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Homewood reached it. Dale Mewburn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregory Conlin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Dale Mewburn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Gregory Conlin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 41st minute Kamikazes were awarded a corner. Jesse Maunsell went to the cornerflag to take it. Kamikazes's Jesse Maunsell was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gregory Conlin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dale Mewburn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobie Clinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loud Chant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginald Annis in the 48th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Dale Mewburn sped through Homewood's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gregory Conlin. 67 minutes into the match, Kamikazes's goalkeeper Loud Chant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reginald Annis. Lauder Chapman's late challenge caught a Kamikazes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lauder Chapman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kamikazes booed when Homewood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauder Chapman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Kamikazes's Dale Mewburn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregory Conlin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes into the game, Tobie Clinton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kamikazes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Homewood the free kick. If Dale Mewburn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, Tobie Clinton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Gregory Conlin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Kamikazes booed when Homewood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evan Bowen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dale Mewburn came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Kamikazes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dale Mewburn couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Kamikazes were the better team. Kamikazes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
