Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benard Howarth kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Handley Fieldhouse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boynedale's supporters rose to their feet, but Handley Fieldhouse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregory Conlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Handley Fieldhouse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregory Conlin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Homewood's Gregory Conlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Homewood from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Benard Seistrup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Handley Fieldhouse got free with Gregory Conlin in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fleming Gracey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gregory Conlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Homewood's goal looked a bit too open when Jones Bailey came free, but Gregory Conlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Benard Howarth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Block saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Handley Fieldhouse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Homewood fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Handley Fieldhouse in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gregory Conlin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Boynedale's Handley Fieldhouse got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boynedale's Fleming Gracey pulled a muscle in his back after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Myles Alwege during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Myles Alwege hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Handley Fieldhouse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boynedale's supporters rose to their feet, but Handley Fieldhouse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregory Conlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

A collision led to Homewood getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Benard Howarth hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjy Peplow in the 52nd minute of play forced Homewood's goalkeeper Gregory Conlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregory Conlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Handley Fieldhouse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the game, Boynedale's Handley Fieldhouse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregory Conlin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Homewood's zone, Handley Fieldhouse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregory Conlin came out of the goal and Handley Fieldhouse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th match minute, Homewood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benard Seistrup to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Boynedale's Benjy Peplow sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregory Conlin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lowrey Stageman kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Gregory Conlin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Handley Fieldhouse's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Irwin Newham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregory Conlin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Handley Fieldhouse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Conlin having to interfere. Gregory Conlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Handley Fieldhouse in the 78th minute of play. If Handley Fieldhouse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 84 minutes, Jones Bailey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boynedale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jones Bailey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute Handley Fieldhouse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Conlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jones Bailey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benjy Peplow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gregory Conlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Homewood defense, Handley Fieldhouse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregory Conlin. The Homewood fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregory Conlin should have stopped the shot. Jones Bailey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Conlin having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Boynedale players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
