Marcus Brien charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Brien the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcus Brien kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Byrne Muncaster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dugald Limmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Tigers FC booed when Australia Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Murphy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Karl Schonke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Australia Fc's Dugald Limmer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Tigers FC's goalkeeper Berny Stebbing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dale Ambrose. In the 22nd minute Alex Murphy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berny Stebbing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Schonke in the 25th minute of play forced Australia Fc's goalkeeper Dugald Limmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Byrne Muncaster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dale Ambrose received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Berny Stebbing came out and tried to block the shot, but Dale Ambrose slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 29th minute. Australia Fc's Dugald Limmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Schonke in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl Schonke in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dugald Limmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the match, Tigers FC's Karl Schonke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dugald Limmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Byrne Muncaster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Byrne Muncaster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dugald Limmer having to interfere. Karl Schonke succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Dugald Limmer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl Schonke's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl Schonke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cliff Crawford took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Berny Stebbing. Berny Stebbing dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 66 minutes into the match, Karl Schonke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dugald Limmer. Australia Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl Schonke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After 73 played minutes Australia Fc got a freekick which was hit by Dale Ambrose. After a defensive mix-up in Australia Fc's zone, Karl Schonke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dugald Limmer came out of the goal and Karl Schonke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Byrne Muncaster in the 83rd minute of play forced Australia Fc's goalkeeper Dugald Limmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Tigers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Murphy came free, but Berny Stebbing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dugald Limmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl Schonke in the 87th minute. Dugald Limmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Byrne Muncaster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 90 in the game by Karl Schonke from a close distance when the talented Dugald Limmer managed to make a qualified save. Australia Fc's players were relieved. Australia Fc's Dugald Limmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Byrne Muncaster in the 93rd minute of play. Australia Fc succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Tigers FC had controlled the match.
