Andre Lawrence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cliff Crawford in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ray Domenichetti saved Los Angeles de Coco from getting behind. Ray Domenichetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Murphy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, Australia Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allen Edwards to maneuver through the defense. Los Angeles de Coco's Clark Sparrow got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Andre Lawrence kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dugald Limmer. That made the score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. Alex Murphy might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ray Domenichetti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex Murphy ran back to his position shaking his head. Dugald Limmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andre Lawrence in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Andre Lawrence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dale Ambrose charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a defensive mix-up in Australia Fc's zone, Bran Minton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dugald Limmer came out of the goal and Bran Minton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Bran Minton made a precise shot to the right of Dugald Limmer. Australia Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Australia Fc's zone, Andre Lawrence stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cliff Crawford's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Ray Domenichetti skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 77th match minute, Australia Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allen Edwards to maneuver through the defense. If Cliff Crawford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
