In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lucyvale's goalkeeper Baxter Kuskoff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 7 played minutes Clarevaulx got a freekick which was hit by Murphey Goodwin. Baxter Kuskoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenz Capellemans in the 11th minute of play. Roland Convine didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cain Quinnell went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Clarevaulx's Brooks Mcroberts got a free kick in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Lucyvale's Edwin Miels nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roland Convine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, Lucyvale's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenz Capellemans came free, but Baxter Kuskoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenz Capellemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baxter Kuskoff having to interfere. Earl Limmer's late challenge caught a Clarevaulx's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Earl Limmer helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Kevin Macinnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clarevaulx's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Macinnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baxter Kuskoff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cain Quinnell made a kick off. In the 54th minute Kevin Macinnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baxter Kuskoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baxter Kuskoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenz Capellemans in the 57th minute of play. Lucyvale's Baxter Kuskoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenz Capellemans in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenz Capellemans in the 63rd minute of play forced Lucyvale's goalkeeper Baxter Kuskoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kevin Macinnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes of play, Clarevaulx's Kevin Macinnes made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baxter Kuskoff was left in no man's land by his defense there! 76 minutes into the game, Clarevaulx's Lorenz Capellemans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baxter Kuskoff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Lucyvale were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
