Spectators: 6843 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paul Loch started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Coningsby's zone, Cliff Crawford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Greenan came out of the goal and Cliff Crawford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Coningsby's Jamie Tebbit got a free kick in the 9th minute. Brian Greenan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cliff Crawford went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute, Bo Cave got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Murphy in the 21st minute of play forced Coningsby's goalkeeper Brian Greenan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cliff Crawford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Greenan having to interfere. In the 24th minute Alex Murphy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Greenan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cliff Crawford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Australia Fc's Dugald Limmer got control of the ball when Bo Cave tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paul Loch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Dugald Limmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Alex Murphy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Greenan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Greenan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Murphy went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Cliff Crawford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Brian Greenan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Murphy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Murphy made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Australia Fc's Cliff Crawford made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brian Greenan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 61 minutes, Bo Cave managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coningsby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Cave was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bo Cave had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Coningsby booed when Australia Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dale Ambrose didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bo Cave sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Coningsby getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Aaron Cameron hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Australia Fc's Cliff Crawford nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brian Greenan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. With a little luck, Coningsby's Brian Greenan got control of the ball when Alex Murphy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 played minutes Coningsby got a freekick which was hit by Brent Cameron. Coningsby's Brian Greenan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Murphy in the 86th minute of play. Dugald Limmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Cave in the 89th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Australia Fc had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
