After a rather tough play, Wauraltee's Rudolph Richard got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute, Ivan Maciver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Wauraltee's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Lawrence came free, but Carleton Byrnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carleton Byrnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andre Lawrence in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marshall Missen to make the kick off. Andre Lawrence fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carleton Byrnes having to interfere. Los Angeles de Coco's Ray Domenichetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eden Nurthen in the 63rd minute of play. Andre Lawrence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ray Domenichetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phil Pickhills in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Wauraltee's zone, Andre Lawrence stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carleton Byrnes came out of the goal and Andre Lawrence tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 minutes, Andre Lawrence mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Angeles de Coco and the Wauraltee players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Los Angeles de Coco's Andre Lawrence got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Andre Lawrence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Ivan Maciver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Angeles de Coco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Maciver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andre Lawrence fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carleton Byrnes having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Wauraltee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eden Nurthen to maneuver through the defense. Los Angeles de Coco were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
