After 12 played minutes, Lawnswood's Dan Hunter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Payton Haydock came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lawnswood reached it. Barnes Eicke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fleming Willis in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Payton Haydock saved MongolianWarrior from getting behind. After 36 played minutes Lawnswood got a freekick which was hit by Dan Hunter. If Herbert Richard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
