A very good chance. After the first half Wellard were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Preston Mudie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stewart Curtis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justin Mills fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burtt Mcquoid having to interfere. Cullen Sugden was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bringelly! The referee gave Wellard a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fletcher Hart, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bringelly's Burtt Mcquoid. 0-2. Eavan Odonahoo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Bran Spurr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wellard's Bran Spurr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeffray Wittber in the 83rd minute of play. The Bringelly supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wellard's performance. The match ended with a win for Wellard.
