In the 28thth minute of the game Justin Mills who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liverpool FC's Stew Whitsitt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Jesse Wadley in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Liverpool FC's Brennan Gruer. With an all-out effort, Liverpool FC's Bran Spurr threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andre Tarrant, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Stewart Curtis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Stewart Curtis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stew Whitsitt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bishop Tevelien made a kick off. If Andre Tarrant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Wellard's goal looked a bit too open when Bishop Tevelien came free, but Bran Spurr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Justin Mills had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th match minute, Wellard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fleming Mapps to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andre Tarrant in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bran Spurr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bran Spurr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Tarrant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andre Tarrant blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bran Spurr having to make a save. 67 minutes into the game, Liverpool FC's Bishop Tevelien nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bran Spurr made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Wellard's Justin Mills in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liverpool FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 75 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Ben Mitchell. Fletcher Hart took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stew Whitsitt. Liverpool FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 79 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Bremen Prior. In the 81st minute, Lewis Auger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th match minute, Wellard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryanne Czaczka to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Wellard getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Bryanne Czaczka hit a great ball. In the 89thth minute of the game Bishop Tevelien who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wellard's Bran Spurr was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Justin Mills came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Wellard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justin Mills couldn't finish the play. Despite being the better team, Liverpool FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
