Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Benny Veitch made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Ootha getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Paz Howard hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Ootha's goalkeeper Duncan Alcock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliver Bridson. Aron Marcola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benny Veitch, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ogilvie's goalkeeper Aron Marcola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benny Veitch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Marcola having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Ootha's John Leyden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aron Marcola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Ogilvie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnett Bromfield to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Leyden in the 16th minute of play forced Ogilvie's goalkeeper Aron Marcola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Benny Veitch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aron Marcola. Ogilvie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benny Veitch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Ootha's Benny Veitch in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ogilvie's goalie prevented a goal. Aron Marcola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benny Veitch in the 28th minute of the match. Aron Marcola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Leyden in the 32nd minute of play. Ootha's Duncan Alcock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Ootha from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute, Paz Howard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ren Hess received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Duncan Alcock came out and tried to block the shot, but Ren Hess slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 38th minute. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Ren Hess got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Ogilvie players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ootha were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Ren Hess made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ogilvie booed when Ootha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Munroe Cridland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murphy Flesfader kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Oliver Bridson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Alcock having to interfere. Ren Hess received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Duncan Alcock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ren Hess had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliver Bridson might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duncan Alcock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver Bridson ran back to his position shaking his head. Duncan Alcock came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ogilvie's Ren Hess. But to his dismay, Ren Hess quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Benny Veitch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Marcola having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Ootha got a freekick which was hit by Barnabas Willding. Murphey Christini hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match Benedict Alcock sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Duncan Alcock skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 99 minutes, Oliver Bridson put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Duncan Alcock.
