Spectators: 6848 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Preston Mudie kicked off to start the match. Eavan Odonahoo kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Benny Clack took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Billy Meyers. Lawnswood's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Billy Meyers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Preston Mudie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Dan Hunter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bleyd Willis, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lawnswood! In the 18th minute, Bleyd Willis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bringelly fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Billy Meyers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Preston Mudie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Corey Oreilly put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Billy Meyers. If Preston Mudie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Christopher Barker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 46 played minutes Lawnswood got a freekick which was hit by Otto Park. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Preston Mudie sped through Lawnswood's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Billy Meyers. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Fleming Willis made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Bringelly's zone, Barnes Eicke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Burtt Mcquoid came out of the goal and Barnes Eicke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bleyd Willis during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dan Hunter shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Burtt Mcquoid didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fleming Willis went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fleming Willis in the 73rd minute of play forced Bringelly's goalkeeper Burtt Mcquoid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barnes Eicke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burtt Mcquoid having to interfere. Fleming Willis struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Burtt Mcquoid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lawnswood. Billy Meyers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Preston Mudie, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 83 played minutes Lawnswood got a freekick which was hit by Berny Hollingworth. After a defensive mix-up in Lawnswood's zone, Preston Mudie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Billy Meyers came out of the goal and Preston Mudie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes in the game, Preston Mudie fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Billy Meyers having to interfere.
