Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pete Featon got the match started through his kick off. When Preston Mudie came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Bringelly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Preston Mudie couldn't finish the play. Dan Mckinley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Burtt Mcquoid having to make a save. Burtt Mcquoid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Mckinley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 played minutes West Coast Slammers got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Fallen. If Preston Mudie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Preston Mudie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dakota Morey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, West Coast Slammers's Neal Chant got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 36th minute of the match, Preston Mudie tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dakota Morey saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 46 minutes, Lucas Boylin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bringelly and the West Coast Slammers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Bringelly got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Boylin. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Preston Mudie made a kick off. Dakota Morey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Preston Mudie in the 53rd minute of play. Eavan Odonahoo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Dakota Morey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Preston Mudie took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dakota Morey. Dakota Morey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cullen Skittrall's late challenge caught a West Coast Slammers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cullen Skittrall helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Cullen Skittrall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eavan Odonahoo in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dakota Morey saved West Coast Slammers from getting behind. In the 77th minute, Preston Mudie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dakota Morey was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Preston Mudie in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dakota Morey saved West Coast Slammers from getting behind. Preston Mudie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dakota Morey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind West Coast Slammers's goalkeeper Dakota Morey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Preston Mudie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Preston Mudie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dakota Morey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Preston Mudie in the 91st minute of play. Eavan Odonahoo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dakota Morey having to interfere. Neal Chant hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. If Eavan Odonahoo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bringelly walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
