The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Brown Black sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Baxter Rummens fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DisOrient FC's protests and gave Baxter Rummens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute Ray Calver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Lovis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joshua Lovis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brown Black in the 14th minute of the match. Ray Calver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Joshua Lovis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brown Black recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. DisOrient FC's Joshua Lovis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brown Black in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calvin Eversden in the 31st minute of play forced Landsborough's goalkeeper Berry Brady to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brown Black struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Joshua Lovis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Landsborough. Jemmett Diefenbach's late challenge caught a DisOrient FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jemmett Diefenbach helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of DisOrient FC booed when Landsborough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jemmett Diefenbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calvin Eversden had several of the Landsborough's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 43 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Berry Brady as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Brown Black managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landsborough's supporters rose to their feet, but Brown Black was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joshua Lovis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Ray Calver made the kick off in the second half. Joshua Lovis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ray Calver in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes in the game, Ray Calver dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Ray Calver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joshua Lovis having to interfere. Ray Calver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joshua Lovis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brown Black in the 61st minute. Baxter Rummens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berry Brady having to interfere. Joshua Lovis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ray Calver in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Ray Calver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Lovis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A beautiful save bye DisOrient FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 73rd minute of the game, Jackson Morey landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 73 minutes, Navin Baxter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DisOrient FC and the Landsborough players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, Navin Baxter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herbert Haberle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joshua Lovis having to interfere. Brown Black recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herbert Haberle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Landsborough failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
