Spectators: 8127 (Terracing: 6097, Seating: 1869, VIP seats: 161) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brett Venz kicked off to start the match. The Rubiton F.C fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Rubiton F.C's Brett Venz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brett Venz got free with Arnie Alcock in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnie Alcock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aden Mcinnes in the 8th minute of play. Aden Mcinnes took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnie Alcock. Arnie Alcock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Brett Venz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Arnie Alcock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clark Blestowe struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Ryan Limmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perilya. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brett Venz in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnie Alcock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnie Alcock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Roach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brett Venz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Arnie Alcock skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 29 in the game by Brett Venz from a close distance when the talented Arnie Alcock managed to make a qualified save. Perilya's players were relieved. Brett Venz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnie Alcock having to make a save. Arnie Alcock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brett Venz's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Arnie Alcock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brett Venz in the 36th minute. Arnie Alcock was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Brett Venz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 41 minute of play. Perilya's Arnie Alcock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brett Venz in the 46th minute of play. Arnie Alcock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brett Venz in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Best James to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacob Roach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnie Alcock having to interfere. Brett Venz might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnie Alcock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brett Venz ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnie Alcock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Roach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Brett Venz came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Rubiton F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brett Venz couldn't finish the play. Aden Mcinnes might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnie Alcock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aden Mcinnes ran back to his position shaking his head. If Clark Blestowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Clark Blestowe fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perilya's protests and gave Clark Blestowe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Clark Blestowe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Brett Venz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Jacob Roach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rubiton F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacob Roach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Bjorn Kean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Best James fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Limmer having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rubiton F.C had played much better football throughout.
