Case Heberle scored 2-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Berry Brady, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Keefe Merz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brown Black, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes, Jackson Morey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Landsborough and the Minhamite players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Jackson Morey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Danny Natt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minhamite's supporters rose to their feet, but Danny Natt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berry Brady breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berry Brady showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Natt in the 64th minute of the match. When Downing Hands fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minhamite's protests and gave Downing Hands a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Landsborough booed when Minhamite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Downing Hands didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ray Calver in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keefe Merz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Berry Brady showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Natt, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Ray Calver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Keefe Merz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Minhamite's Keefe Merz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Minhamite from getting a goal against them. The Minhamite supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Landsborough's performance. The match ended with a win for Landsborough.
