When Brice Hoskin came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Real Tsoukinator fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brice Hoskin couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bundaberg RUMblers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eliot Butterfield was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Tsoukinator's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Real Tsoukinator's corner Eliot Butterfield fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Russ Ross quite easily take care of the ball. If Brice Hoskin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Russ Ross made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brice Hoskin in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Real Tsoukinator's Edwin Lonergan got a free kick in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Real Tsoukinator's zone, Jake Smoothy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bran Thomas came out of the goal and Jake Smoothy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Bran Thomas managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Bundaberg RUMblers's Brandon Brennan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Real Tsoukinator's zone, Brandon Brennan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bran Thomas came out of the goal and Brandon Brennan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brice Hoskin in the 38th minute of play forced Bundaberg RUMblers's goalkeeper Russ Ross to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Brice Hoskin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Russ Ross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute Danton Huff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Russ Ross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Brice Hoskin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Tsoukinator's supporters rose to their feet, but Brice Hoskin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Russ Ross breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Danton Huff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Real Tsoukinator's Brice Hoskin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Russ Ross narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brice Hoskin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Russ Ross came out and tried to block the shot, but Brice Hoskin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 69th minute. Danton Huff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russ Ross having to interfere. Real Tsoukinator's Byrne Favas was substituted for Brice Hoskin. Bundaberg RUMblers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Byrne Favas scored to the left of an out of position Russ Ross, making the score, 0-3. Bundaberg RUMblers's Russ Ross played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Byrne Favas in the 85th minute of play. Byrne Favas might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Russ Ross. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Byrne Favas ran back to his position shaking his head. Real Tsoukinator's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
