Richard Weller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Buck Blattman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buck Blattman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, Liverpool Allstars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Hess to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Liverpool Allstars's goalkeeper Richard Weller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reese Weeks. Birrell Mckay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Wadley, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Liverpool Allstars defense, Reese Weeks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Weller. The Liverpool Allstars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Weller should have stopped the shot. Alberto Tout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Birrell Mckay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bulleen Zebras F.C.'s Birrell Mckay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tout in the 32nd minute of play. Alberto Tout sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39th minute, Buck Blattman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Richard Weller, passed just outside the right post. Reese Weeks let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 43rd minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. In the 47th match minute, Liverpool Allstars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tout to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Tout made a kick off. Henry Wadley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birrell Mckay having to interfere. Henry Wadley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Birrell Mckay having to make a save. After 57th play minutes Alberto Tout shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Birrell Mckay and just under the crossbar into goal. Birrell Mckay made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Henry Wadley sent off a good shot on target. If Buck Blattman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reese Weeks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Weller having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Bulleen Zebras F.C.'s Buck Blattman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Weller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Richard Weller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reese Weeks in the 78th minute of the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Reese Weeks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bulleen Zebras F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Reese Weeks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute Reese Weeks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Weller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Liverpool Allstars's Alberto Tout sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Birrell Mckay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Henry Wadley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jarrod Mcmillan during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
