Brown Black fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barney Boneheyo having to interfere. With a little luck, Altona Meadows's Barney Boneheyo got control of the ball when Jackson Morey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Berke Mcmillan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Altona Meadows booed when Landsborough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Haberle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Russel Andrusiow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. James Mogork hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Berke Mcmillan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berry Brady saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barney Boneheyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ray Calver in the 39th minute of play. Barney Boneheyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jemmett Diefenbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Altona Meadows's Barney Boneheyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Altona Meadows from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ray Calver to make the kick off. Berke Mcmillan scored 0-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Berry Brady, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Russel Andrusiow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Landsborough's Brown Black in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Altona Meadows's goalie prevented a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Altona Meadows fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! After having played for 74 minutes, Casper Sawbridge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altona Meadows's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casper Sawbridge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Brown Black came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Landsborough fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brown Black couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Landsborough's Herbert Haberle got a free kick in the 87th minute. Berry Brady took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Pukallus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Casper Sawbridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jemmett Diefenbach hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Boris Pukallus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Berry Brady tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
