After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ray Calver stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brett Venz in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Berry Brady prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Berry Brady made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aden Mcinnes in the 76th minute of play. Ray Calver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ryan Limmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Rubiton F.C getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jarrod Sparrow hit a great ball. Ryan Limmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brown Black in the 81st minute. Berry Brady stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brett Venz's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brown Black got free with Ryan Limmer in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brett Venz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Berry Brady tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Rubiton F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Landsborough's performance. The match ended with a win for Landsborough.
