Spectators: 7900 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 100) SHENHUA FC's Corder Clist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, SHENHUA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stan Weller to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, NikoFC's Howard Mcjunkins got control of the ball when Corder Clist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, SHENHUA FC's Andres Wilson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Andres Wilson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SHENHUA FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Andres Wilson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 7 minutes into the game, one of SHENHUA FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave NikoFC a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carson Bleazard, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SHENHUA FC's Earl Pegrum. 0-1. Earl Pegrum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Carnduff, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everett Freeman in the 14th minute of play forced SHENHUA FC's goalkeeper Earl Pegrum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, SHENHUA FC's Byron Dollamore ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Howard Mcjunkins. Howard Mcjunkins yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Stan Weller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Corder Clist notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of NikoFC's Howard Mcjunkins. Howard Mcjunkins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute, Loyd Kile ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Earl Pegrum was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Brendan Carnduff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Howard Mcjunkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corder Clist in the 33rd minute of play. If Corder Clist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 37 minutes, Corder Clist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SHENHUA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corder Clist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Howard Mcjunkins was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stan Weller showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 41 minute of play. Howard Mcjunkins came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by SHENHUA FC's Archie Rafferty. But to his dismay, Archie Rafferty quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brendan Carnduff to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Corder Clist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Howard Mcjunkins. NikoFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Corder Clist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Earl Pegrum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendan Carnduff in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Corder Clist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Howard Mcjunkins was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. If Everett Freeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the NikoFC defense, Corder Clist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Howard Mcjunkins. The NikoFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Howard Mcjunkins should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Carnduff in the 81st minute of play forced SHENHUA FC's goalkeeper Earl Pegrum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Earl Pegrum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Carnduff, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, SHENHUA FC's goalkeeper Earl Pegrum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everett Freeman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stan Weller in the 92nd minute of play forced NikoFC's goalkeeper Howard Mcjunkins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NikoFC's Howard Mcjunkins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stan Weller in the 92nd minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Stan Weller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SHENHUA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stan Weller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 97 played minutes NikoFC got a freekick which was hit by Loyd Kile.
