With his leg Nathaniel Grigson managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when GGS FC's Remington Conlin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony Obrien during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of GGS FC booed when Kiras Krusaders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Obrien didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundson Sibbold in the 26th minute of play forced GGS FC's goalkeeper Adesa Gaekwad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Kiras Krusaders's Edmundson Sibbold nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adesa Gaekwad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Kiras Krusaders's Earnest Byrnes got a free kick in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Remington Conlin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nathaniel Grigson was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 41 minutes into the game, Kiras Krusaders's Edmundson Sibbold nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Earnest Byrnes couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Kiras Krusaders's Tony Obrien got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Remington Conlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathaniel Grigson having to interfere. After 74 minutes of play, GGS FC's Remington Conlin made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nathaniel Grigson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Remington Conlin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nathaniel Grigson having to make a save. If Remington Conlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christan Ronald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Nathaniel Grigson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GGS FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
