Spectators: 6150 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Donovan Pfingst took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Soupers getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Grant Frew hit a great ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Donovan Pfingst managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soupers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donovan Pfingst was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donovan Pfingst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Chuck Beckwith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dean Telfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neal Newham in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Aaron Featon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Wolves FC's Kirk Flesfadar got a free kick in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donovan Pfingst in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chuck Beckwith saved Wolves FC from getting behind. Bryan Allen charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bryan Allen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Soupers booed when Wolves FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryan Allen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chuck Beckwith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grant Frew in the 23rd minute of play. Donovan Pfingst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chuck Beckwith having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyde Odd in the 27th minute of play forced Soupers's goalkeeper Dean Telfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bill Pearson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Grant Frew recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Soupers booed when Wolves FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Featon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Grant Frew managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soupers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grant Frew was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Boyde Odd made the kick off in the second half. Wolves FC's Bryan Allen got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Bryan Allen off the ground. The Soupers fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Soupers's Donovan Pfingst looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bill Pearson struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Chuck Beckwith didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soupers. After a defensive mix-up in Wolves FC's zone, Donovan Pfingst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chuck Beckwith came out of the goal and Donovan Pfingst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the game, Aaron Featon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wolves FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soupers the free kick. After a rather tough play, Wolves FC's Aaron Featon got a free kick in the 64th minute. Donovan Pfingst who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Chuck Beckwith when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Art Mills had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Wolves FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donovan Pfingst came free, but Chuck Beckwith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dean Telfer came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Wolves FC's Neal Newham. But to his dismay, Neal Newham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Art Mills struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Dean Telfer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolves FC. Neal Newham took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dean Telfer. Dean Telfer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Donovan Pfingst blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chuck Beckwith having to make a save. Soupers were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
