Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dean Telfer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Connor Smoothey in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the game, Robert Allen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dean Telfer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Soupers's Dean Telfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Allen in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Allen in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dean Telfer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute, Arnie Moran made a precise shot to the right of Dean Telfer. Soupers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Dean Telfer came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Barrington's Connor Smoothey. But to his dismay, Connor Smoothey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Dean Telfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Allen in the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Soupers's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Allen came free, but Dean Telfer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Soupers defense, Robert Allen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dean Telfer. The Soupers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dean Telfer should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute Connor Smoothey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Telfer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnie Moran in the 42nd minute of play forced Soupers's goalkeeper Dean Telfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dean Telfer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnie Moran in the 43rd minute of play. Dean Telfer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Porteus, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Jack Porteus made the kick off in the second half. Dean Telfer was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Arnie Moran capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnie Moran really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. When Donovan Pfingst came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Soupers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donovan Pfingst couldn't finish the play. Dean Telfer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Porteus, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After some careless play in the Soupers defense, Robert Allen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dean Telfer. The Soupers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dean Telfer should have stopped the shot. If Donovan Pfingst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humphry Knaack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bryan Miller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humphry Knaack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Miller having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Bill Pearson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soupers's supporters rose to their feet, but Bill Pearson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bryan Miller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dean Telfer was a little too slow when Brian Hitchen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-7. Dean Telfer made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Robert Allen sent off a good shot on target. Soupers's Dean Telfer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Soupers from getting a goal against them. Robert Allens short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Dean Telfer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Donovan Pfingst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Miller having to interfere. Dean Telfer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Porteus, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Long Whitmore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Barrington supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barrington would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
