That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. When Barnabas Pears came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Andergrove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnabas Pears couldn't finish the play. Abraham Dollimore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Wolves FC's zone, Arnie Bonison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chuck Beckwith came out of the goal and Arnie Bonison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neal Newham kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Wolves FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hal Tauschke came free, but Chuck Beckwith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Barnabas Pears had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hal Tauschke came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Andergrove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hal Tauschke couldn't finish the play. Barnabas Pears received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Chuck Beckwith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Andergrove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bath Trenoweth to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Art Mills had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martyon Brophy. Andergrove's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Art Mills was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Hal Tauschke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hal Tauschke to make the kick off. If Boyde Odd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the game, Art Mills cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Martyon Brophy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th minute, Art Mills got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martyon Brophy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Art Mills in the 61st minute of play. Chuck Beckwith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hal Tauschke in the 66th minute of the match. A hard shot 72 in the game by Barnabas Pears from a close distance when the talented Chuck Beckwith managed to make a qualified save. Wolves FC's players were relieved. With an all-out effort, Andergrove's Chuck Beckwith threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hal Tauschke, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barnabas Pears got free with Chuck Beckwith in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80thth minute of the game Boyde Odd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Andergrove's Martyon Brophy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andergrove:s Martyon Brophy showed great skill when he stopped Dalton Freeman:s penalty. For all the effort they put into the match, the Andergrove players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Wolves FC.
