Spectators: 7993 (Terracing: 5996, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damon Blackham started the match with the kick off. When Sam Limmer fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kalkee's protests and gave Sam Limmer a yellow card for diving instead. Edmundson Sibbold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Max Hilton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kalkee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kiras Krusaders the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kalkee's Max Hilton got a free kick in the 15th minute. Jacobs Barker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nathaniel Grigson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Jacobs Barker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damon Blackham in the 33rd minute of play forced Kiras Krusaders's goalkeeper Nathaniel Grigson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nathaniel Grigson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacobs Barker's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damon Blackham in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nathaniel Grigson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kiras Krusaders's Nathaniel Grigson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobs Barker in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damon Blackham in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nathaniel Grigson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundson Sibbold to make the kick off. Nathaniel Grigson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Limmer in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Bryant Ziliotto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kalkee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kiras Krusaders the free kick. The supporters of Kiras Krusaders booed when Kalkee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryant Ziliotto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kalkee's Damon Blackham in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kiras Krusaders's goalie prevented a goal. 62 minutes into the match, Kiras Krusaders's goalkeeper Nathaniel Grigson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacobs Barker. After a rather tough play, Kiras Krusaders's Fabrizio Flisfeder got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kiras Krusaders's zone, Damon Blackham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nathaniel Grigson came out of the goal and Damon Blackham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Kalkee getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Max Hilton hit a great ball. Peter Trezise hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jacobs Barker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th match minute, Kalkee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Limmer to maneuver through the defense. Kiras Krusaders's Nathaniel Grigson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Kiras Krusaders from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the game, Damon Blackham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nathaniel Grigson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bryant Ziliotto hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Mark Bostock's late challenge caught a Kalkee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mark Bostock helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, one of Kiras Krusaders:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kiras Krusaders. Nathaniel Grigson had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping Dan Hodson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Nathaniel Grigson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Hodson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobs Barker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
