Spectators: 7953 (Terracing: 5966, Seating: 1829, VIP seats: 158) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hal Tauschke kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Andergrove's Hal Tauschke got a free kick in the 4th minute. Earnest Byrnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Martyon Brophy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hal Tauschke kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Barnabas Pears received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nathaniel Grigson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Kiras Krusaders's Mark Bostock seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mark Bostock the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kiras Krusaders protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mark Bostock had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Kiras Krusaders:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Andergrove:s goal. Bath Trenoweth shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Nathaniel Grigson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hal Tauschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Hal Tauschke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathaniel Grigson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, Andergrove's Barnabas Pears made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nathaniel Grigson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Earnest Byrnes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martyon Brophy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Earnest Byrnes in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Kiras Krusaders booed when Andergrove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abe Beverly didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Earnest Byrnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hal Tauschke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nathaniel Grigson having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Nathaniel Grigson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 71st minute, Ollie Bouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norm Shortus kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barnabas Pears got free with Nathaniel Grigson in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Andergrove's Abraham Dollimore got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Earnest Byrnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyon Brophy having to interfere. Kiras Krusaders's Tony Obrien got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
