A wasted opportunity for Tigers United. 6 minutes into the match, Larkin Bowman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abbott Mudie, 1-0. In the 10th minute, Brand Hines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barnard Howard hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Larkin Bowman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abbott Mudie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Todd Moran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tigers United's Martyon Howard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolph Holdsworth in the 15th minute of play. Todd Moran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Martyon Howard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudolph Holdsworth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rudolph Holdsworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Martyon Howard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Rudolph Holdsworth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martyon Howard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Todd Moran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Achmids Soul's supporters rose to their feet, but Todd Moran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martyon Howard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brand Hines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abbott Mudie having to interfere. Conner Laing hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Todd Moran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martyon Howard. Tigers United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Todd Moran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Todd Moran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tigers United's Dani Mcwilliam got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rudolph Holdsworth was the one to do the kick off. Tigers United's Martyon Howard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Tigers United from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Achmids Soul's zone, Brand Hines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abbott Mudie came out of the goal and Brand Hines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Larkin Bowman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tigers United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Tigers United's Martyon Howard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Tigers United from getting a goal against them. 72 minutes into the match, Achmids Soul's Todd Moran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martyon Howard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Martyon Howard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Todd Moran in the 75th minute. Rudolph Holdsworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th match minute, Tigers United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barney Teuma to maneuver through the defense. Tigers United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rudolph Holdsworth 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-4. Rudolph Holdsworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyon Howard having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Brand Hines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigers United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brand Hines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abbott Mudie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larkin Bowman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abbott Mudie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brand Hines in the 95th minute of play. The Tigers United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Achmids Soul's performance. The match ended with a win for Achmids Soul.
