Spectators: 6837 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 0) JK Tammeka's Connor Orvad started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Bungunya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brooks Chamberlain to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Powell in the 14th minute of play forced JK Tammeka's goalkeeper Benjy Forrest to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bungunya's Danton Marsland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larry Tinsley in the 16th minute of play. Connor Orvad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danton Marsland having to interfere. JK Tammeka's Benjy Forrest proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save JK Tammeka from getting a goal against them. In the 28th play minute Henry Slattery came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benjy Forrest. 1-0. Philip Morse hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Connor Orvad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danton Marsland. Bungunya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Connor Orvad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Danton Marsland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Connor Orvad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Larry Tinsley managed to get in a good position for a shot. JK Tammeka's supporters rose to their feet, but Larry Tinsley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danton Marsland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benjy Forrest made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Powell in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barry Powell was the one to do the kick off. Barry Powell scored 2-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjy Forrest, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Larry Tinsley came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the JK Tammeka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Larry Tinsley couldn't finish the play. Benjy Forrest showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Slattery, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Connor Orvad kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Danton Marsland. That made the score 2-2 in the 68 minute of play. Bungunya's Danton Marsland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Connor Orvad in the 77th minute of play. Benjy Forrest showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Slattery, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
