Joshua Prince didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newrybar. 12 minutes into the match, Newrybar's goal looked a bit too open when Arneil Rheistein came free, but Bray Caddick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arneil Rheistein in the 15th minute of play forced Newrybar's goalkeeper Bray Caddick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 played minutes Newrybar got a freekick which was hit by Barry Sobezak. Bray Caddick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angus Coleman, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th match minute, Chelsea Dream was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angus Coleman to maneuver through the defense. Drew Adamson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Newrybar's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Joshua Prince made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Edmund Smee sent off a good shot on target. Chelsea Dream's Joshua Prince proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Chelsea Dream from getting a goal against them. In the 31st match minute, Chelsea Dream was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arneil Rheistein to maneuver through the defense. If Drew Adamson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Newrybar's Drew Adamson in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chelsea Dream's goalie prevented a goal. In the 39th minute, Chelsea Dream's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edmund Smee fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmund Smee during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Newrybar getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Edmund Smee hit a great ball. In the 47thth minute of the game Arneil Rheistein who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newrybar's Bray Caddick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Drew Adamson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edmund Smee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 58 minutes, Edmund Smee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newrybar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmund Smee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edmund Smee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Newrybar's Bray Caddick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Newrybar from getting a goal against them. Chelsea Dream's Joshua Prince played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Drew Adamson in the 66th minute of play. Drew Adamson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joshua Prince read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Smee in the 72nd minute of play forced Chelsea Dream's goalkeeper Joshua Prince to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Howie Curtis hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Dagan Worrall sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Chelsea Dream's Joshua Prince didn't even have to move. Edmund Smee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute Drew Adamson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Prince saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joshua Prince made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Drew Adamson in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Carlos Freeman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chelsea Dream's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newrybar the free kick. Arneil Rheistein's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bray Caddick read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Chelsea Dream were furious when Andy Telfer was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Drew Adamson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joshua Prince having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Newrybar had played much better football throughout.
