Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875,
Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kris Laws got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes Tigers United got a freekick which was hit by Cole Odonahoo. When Oracle FC's Kris Laws in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tigers United's goalie prevented a goal. Kris Laws struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Martyon Howard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oracle FC. In the 8th minute, Kris Laws fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Martyon Howard, passed just outside the right post. Oracle FC's Alford Collins shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Martyon Howard but with some difficulty. Evan Mckinnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Martyon Howard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Larkin Bowman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 16 minutes, Evan Mckinnes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oracle FC and the Tigers United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Oracle FC's Evan Mckinnes got a free kick in the 16th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Tigers United's Cole Odonahoo tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Danny Cuddihy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brand Hines in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darin Jury saved Oracle FC from getting behind. If Larkin Bowman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Darin Jury came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tigers United's Brand Hines. But to his dismay, Brand Hines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Oracle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Larkin Bowman came free, but Darin Jury reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Oracle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brand Hines came free, but Darin Jury reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Oracle FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Danny Cuddihy hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Brand Hines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tigers United's supporters rose to their feet, but Brand Hines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darin Jury breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 30 minutes, Philip Bonison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oracle FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philip Bonison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brand Hines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Darin Jury tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Bonison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyon Howard having to interfere. The supporters of Tigers United booed when Oracle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evan Mckinnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darin Jury took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larkin Bowman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martyon Howard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Laws in the 41st minute of play. Kris Laws recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Philip Bonison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darin Jury took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brand Hines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Larkin Bowman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oracle FC's Kris Laws got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Brand Hines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute Kris Laws shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martyon Howard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Danny Cuddihy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oracle FC's Darin Jury played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larkin Bowman in the 76th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tigers United's Larkin Bowman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Darin Jury. That made the score 0-3 after 81 minutes of play. Cole Odonahoo charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cole Odonahoo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matthias Digiuseppe shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Kris Laws fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyon Howard having to interfere. If Brand Hines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Tigers United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tigers United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
