Jonty Delahide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brynn Szobczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Nagambie's goalkeeper Jonty Delahide had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kane Johnston. Kane Johnston took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonty Delahide. Jonty Delahide dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Kane Johnston might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonty Delahide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kane Johnston ran back to his position shaking his head. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nagambie fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Jonty Delahide went to the wrong direction when Carmichael Solomon was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Battle Hines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Kane Johnston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Logan Ashby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Battle Hines made a kick off. Logan Ashby might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonty Delahide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Logan Ashby ran back to his position shaking his head. Battle Hines's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonty Delahide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Japoon's Brynn Szobczak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonty Delahide made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After having played for 67 minutes, Kane Johnston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Japoon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kane Johnston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Japoon's Logan Ashby got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clarke Chant charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clarke Chant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Japoon booed when Nagambie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clarke Chant didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Case Kernick notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Nagambie's Jonty Delahide. Jonty Delahide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Japoon made a substitution. Antonio Weeks replaced Iggi Duggan. In the 80th minute Ollie Claringbold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brayden Kayrooz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonty Delahide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kane Johnston in the 83rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Battle Hines sped through Nagambie's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonty Delahide. Japoon's Logan Ashby got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
