Wundowie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmund Smee was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 32nd minute Newrybar were awarded a corner. Dagan Worrall went to the cornerflag to take it. Newrybar's Dagan Worrall was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jackson Mills in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 34 minutes, Drew Adamson made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Wundowie's Jackson Mills tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Smee in the 37th minute of play forced Wundowie's goalkeeper Jackson Mills to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Smee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jackson Mills having to interfere. Drew Adamson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jackson Mills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Wundowie's zone, Drew Adamson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jackson Mills came out of the goal and Drew Adamson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Newrybar were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jackson Mills showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Drew Adamson, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Edmund Smee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newrybar's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmund Smee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jackson Mills breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jackson Mills made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmund Smee in the 93rd minute. Drew Adamson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute.
