Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1871, VIP seats: 161) Pimpana's Loud Mewburn started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Long Maunsell came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Wundowie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Long Maunsell couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Pimpana's Boris Mcgirr got a free kick in the 6th minute. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Loud Mewburn took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jackson Mills to make any attempt to save it. Loud Mewburn in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jackson Mills, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Loud Mewburn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Jackson Mills made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Loud Mewburn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pimpana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Brendan Crapp kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pimpana's Bryanne Neich got a free kick in the 30th minute. Jackson Mills stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loud Mewburn's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Loud Mewburn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Jackson Mills when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Clarke Collins fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jackson Mills, passed just outside the right post. Jackson Mills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loud Mewburn in the 44th minute of the match. A hard shot 46 in the game by Loud Mewburn from a close distance when the talented Jackson Mills managed to make a qualified save. Wundowie's players were relieved. Jackson Mills was a little too slow when Loud Mewburn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Carver Johnson made the kick off in the second half. The Pimpana fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Pimpana's Loud Mewburn looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Wundowie's Brendan Renny got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 62 minutes of play, Wundowie's Brendan Crapp made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brian Diefenbach was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Wundowie booed when Pimpana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darell Morey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pimpana made a substitution. Broderick Dorrell replaced Darell Morey. Darell Morey kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Jackson Mills took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loud Mewburn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loud Mewburn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jackson Mills having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loud Mewburn in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jackson Mills saved Wundowie from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Nathan Sinden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pimpana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loud Mewburn in the 90th minute of play forced Wundowie's goalkeeper Jackson Mills to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jackson Mills took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loud Mewburn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clarke Collins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jackson Mills stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loud Mewburn's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wundowie's zone, Barnett Stanton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jackson Mills came out of the goal and Barnett Stanton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pimpana fully deserved thier win.
