Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bern Morse made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Nathaniel Sedgman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Woolooma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newrybar the free kick. A collision led to Woolooma getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Nathaniel Sedgman hit a great ball. Bray Caddick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bern Morse, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Newrybar's Bray Caddick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bremen Mcinnes in the 14th minute of play. Navin Jury made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmund Smee in the 15th minute. If Drew Adamson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Barry Sobezak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bray Caddick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bremen Mcinnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Woolooma getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Neale Freel hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Edmund Smee fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Navin Jury, passed just outside the right post. Bremen Mcinnes kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Newrybar got a freekick which was hit by Clark Delahide. 46 minutes in the game, Barry Sobezak fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Navin Jury having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Drew Adamson was the one to do the kick off. If Edmund Smee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bern Morse in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bray Caddick saved Newrybar from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bremen Mcinnes got free with Bray Caddick in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Payton Borserio kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Navin Jury didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Drew Adamson went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Duke Oconnell fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Woolooma's protests and gave Duke Oconnell a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Newrybar booed when Woolooma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duke Oconnell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bremen Mcinnes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Bray Caddick made a huge save.
