Larry Tinsley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Martyon Howard made a huge save. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind JK Tammeka's goalkeeper Benjy Forrest, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Larry Tinsley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Martyon Howard when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Brand Hines struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Benjy Forrest didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tigers United. After a rather tough play, JK Tammeka's Carson Mcwilliam got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Brand Hines ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjy Forrest was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Martyon Howard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Connor Orvad in the 23rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Tigers United's Martyon Howard got control of the ball when Larry Tinsley tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Rolando Johnson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JK Tammeka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tigers United the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Tigers United's zone, Larry Tinsley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martyon Howard came out of the goal and Larry Tinsley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Larry Tinsley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Larkin Bowman to strike the kick off in the second half. When Larry Tinsley came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the JK Tammeka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Larry Tinsley couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, Connor Orvad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martyon Howard. Tigers United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Connor Orvad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Edward Pukallus kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, one of Tigers United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tigers United. Benjy Forrest took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larkin Bowman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes JK Tammeka got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Keayes. Connor Orvad took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martyon Howard. Martyon Howard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
