Spectators: 6841 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Battle Hines made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Logan Ashby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danton Marsland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bungunya's Danton Marsland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Battle Hines in the 6th minute of play. Brayden Kayrooz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Slattery in the 9th minute of play. Danton Marsland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kane Johnston in the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Henry Slattery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brayden Kayrooz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Brynn Szobczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danton Marsland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kane Johnston in the 22nd minute of play forced Bungunya's goalkeeper Danton Marsland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes, Jared Pustak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bungunya and the Japoon players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Bungunya got a freekick which was hit by Jared Pustak. 29 minutes into the match, Logan Ashby notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bungunya's Danton Marsland. Danton Marsland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 33 minutes into the match, Bungunya's goal looked a bit too open when Kane Johnston came free, but Danton Marsland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kane Johnston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Battle Hines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Danton Marsland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Kane Johnston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danton Marsland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kane Johnston in the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Battle Hines in the 47th minute of play forced Bungunya's goalkeeper Danton Marsland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henry Slattery to strike the kick off in the second half. Brayden Kayrooz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jason Powell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kane Johnston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danton Marsland having to interfere. If Logan Ashby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Battle Hines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 62 minutes into the game, Kane Johnston cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Danton Marsland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute, Japoon's Logan Ashby dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Danton Marsland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Logan Ashby, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Barry Powell charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barry Powell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes Bungunya got a freekick which was hit by Barry Powell. In the 75th match minute, Bungunya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barry Powell to maneuver through the defense. Japoon made a substitution. Conner Carbery replaced Rusty Letsch. If Battle Hines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bungunya's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Logan Ashby scored to the left of an out of position Danton Marsland, making the score, 0-4. Damon Dollymores short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Danton Marsland to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Bungunya's zone, Damon Dollymore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danton Marsland came out of the goal and Damon Dollymore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clark Pearce during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bungunya's Clark Pearce got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Bungunya fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Japoon were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
