Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Birrell Salcedo kicked off to start the match. Sturt's Casper Dalglish played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baxter Behla in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Sturt's Loyd Bailey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carter Smoothy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14thth minute of the game Birrell Salcedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sturt's Casper Dalglish was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Kainton getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Hale Russell hit a great ball. Loyd Bailey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Smoothy having to interfere. Baxter Behla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birrell Salcedo struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Casper Dalglish didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kainton. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baxter Gaffigan during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Baxter Gaffigan kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Birrell Salcedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Casper Dalglish tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kainton! When the match had been going on for 37 minutes, Sturt's Irving Heys got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Carter Smoothy.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernard Magrath was the one to do the kick off. When Adolph Gorham was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 52 minutes had been played. 52 minutes into the game, one of Kainton:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Sturt a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Irving Heys, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kainton's Carter Smoothy. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Baxter Behla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kainton's supporters rose to their feet, but Baxter Behla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Dalglish breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hale Russell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Casper Dalglish tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everett Kinsey succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 74th playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baxter Behla got free with Casper Dalglish in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carter Smoothy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Magrath in the 81st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Baxter Behla notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Sturt's Casper Dalglish. Casper Dalglish was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Baxter Behla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kainton were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
