Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marcus Brien made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Blade Cameron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Brand Schoenke put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jarrett Freeman. Brand Schoenke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Middlefield's Brand Schoenke slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jarrett Freeman. That made the score 2-0 after 11 minutes of play. Matthew Markwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blade Cameron, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Marcus Brien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Markwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Quandialla booed when Middlefield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bock Adair didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Quandialla's goal looked a bit too open when Iggy Kurth came free, but Jarrett Freeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Iggy Kurth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcus Brien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Markwell having to interfere. Iggy Kurth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Jarrett Freeman made a huge save. Jarrett Freeman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brand Schoenke's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Jarrett Freeman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brand Schoenke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marcus Brien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Quandialla's goal looked a bit too open when Brand Schoenke came free, but Jarrett Freeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iggy Kurth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Brand Schoenke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jarrett Freeman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brand Schoenke made a kick off. Brand Schoenke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrett Freeman having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Quandialla's Marcus Brien nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matthew Markwell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Brand Schoenke struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jarrett Freeman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Middlefield. When Bruce Kiel got free in front of the goal in the 66th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Matthew Markwell was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Middlefield defense, Marcus Brien kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matthew Markwell. The Middlefield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matthew Markwell should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Middlefield's Brand Schoenke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarrett Freeman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyce Lunt in the 75th minute of play forced Quandialla's goalkeeper Jarrett Freeman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Brand Schoenke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarrett Freeman was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Brand Schoenke sped through Quandialla's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jarrett Freeman. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brand Schoenke in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarrett Freeman saved Quandialla from getting behind. Jarrett Freeman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boyce Lunt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Brand Schoenke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Middlefield's supporters rose to their feet, but Brand Schoenke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarrett Freeman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brand Schoenke struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Jarrett Freeman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Middlefield. Iggy Kurth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrett Freeman having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Middlefield fully deserved thier win.
