Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Chuck Ridding made the kick off which started today's match. Strathmore FC's Dugald Fraser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brook Markwell in the 4th minute of play. Brannan Peplows short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Dugald Fraser to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Brannan Peplow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Jeremy Schulze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strathmore FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Woodcroft United the free kick. Jeremy Schulze kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Brannan Peplow might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dugald Fraser. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brannan Peplow ran back to his position shaking his head. After 28 played minutes Strathmore FC got a freekick which was hit by Bryson Hicks. The supporters of Woodcroft United booed when Strathmore FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Parryman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chuck Ridding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dugald Fraser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brook Markwell in the 37th minute of the match. Dugald Fraser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brook Markwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chuck Ridding received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Loud Krause tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Brannan Peplow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Strathmore FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Archie Wittber hit a great ball. Hal Kirkham was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Meyer Veitch charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Meyer Veitch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Meyer Veitch kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, Woodcroft United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brook Markwell to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Woodcroft United getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Rick Gummow hit a great ball. Raymond Parryman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loud Krause having to interfere. Chuck Ridding recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Woodcroft United getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Rick Gummow hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Brook Markwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dugald Fraser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brannan Peplow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Dugald Fraser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brannan Peplow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dugald Fraser having to interfere. Dugald Fraser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brook Markwell in the 93rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Raymond Parryman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strathmore FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raymond Parryman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loud Krause breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Woodcroft United had won after a very even match.
