The referee ignored NSW Fighters's protests and gave Otto Jobson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to NSW Fighters getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Otto Jobson hit a great ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Danny Mcjunkins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. lochies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danny Mcjunkins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th match minute, NSW Fighters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Paull to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, lochies's Jarrett Connolly threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Danny Mcjunkins, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Nilson Hands fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored lochies's protests and gave Nilson Hands a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to lochies getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nilson Hands hit a great ball. Ivan Tauschke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danny Mcjunkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrett Connolly having to interfere. Ivan Tauschke who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Jarrett Connolly when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 41 minutes, Caine Warhurst managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. lochies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caine Warhurst was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Danny Mcjunkins made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, NSW Fighters's Carlos Watts got a free kick in the 51st minute. Otto Jobson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dakota Pegrum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Nilson Hands hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Brye Aroege sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and lochies's Dakota Pegrum didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, NSW Fighters's Ellis Duggan got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, lochies's Clark Dillon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarrett Connolly narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dakota Pegrum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Jobson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marco Paull had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NSW Fighters's Jarrett Connolly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Mcjunkins in the 75th minute of play. Jarrett Connolly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Mcjunkins in the 77th minute of the match. Jarrett Connolly came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by lochies's Danny Mcjunkins. But to his dismay, Danny Mcjunkins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Nilson Hands had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th match minute, NSW Fighters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blade Macinnes to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute lochies were awarded a corner. Clark Dillon went to the cornerflag to take it. lochies were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
