Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elliot Everett started the match with the kick off. Elliot Everett took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loud Krause. Loud Krause dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 13 minutes into the game, Cullen Leyden cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Humphry Mcmillan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute, Brook Markwell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humphry Mcmillan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Woodcroft United booed when Wardell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyd Beins didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute of the match Hal Kirkham sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humphry Mcmillan skillfully saved the ball. Loud Krause was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Elliot Everett capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elliot Everett really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The supporters of Woodcroft United booed when Wardell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Surman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abraham Plank kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Brook Markwell scored 2-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Humphry Mcmillan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd match minute, Wardell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Plank to maneuver through the defense. Humphry Mcmillan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brook Markwell in the 46th minute of play. Abraham Plank hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

In the 53rd minute Brook Markwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humphry Mcmillan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boyd Beins kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Wardell's goal looked a bit too open when Brook Markwell came free, but Humphry Mcmillan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brook Markwell in the 61st minute of play forced Wardell's goalkeeper Humphry Mcmillan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Plank was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wardell fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Wardell's Berke Hanlen got a free kick in the 71st minute. With a little luck, Wardell's Humphry Mcmillan got control of the ball when Brannan Peplow tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brook Markwell in the 76th minute of play forced Wardell's goalkeeper Humphry Mcmillan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Woodcroft United's Brook Markwell slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Humphry Mcmillan. That made the score 2-5 after 96 minutes of play. Woodcroft United played a much better game than Wardell and deserved their victory. The Wardell players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
