Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chuck Ridding kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Chuck Ridding ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bryden Stevens was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Bryden Stevens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bryson Hicks in the 10th minute. Strathmore FC's Dugald Fraser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarvis Johnson in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Strathmore FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Archie Wittber hit a great ball. Dugald Fraser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarvis Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of PeiPei United booed when Strathmore FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryson Hicks didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to PeiPei United getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jarvis Johnson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chuck Ridding in the 28th minute of play forced PeiPei United's goalkeeper Bryden Stevens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dugald Fraser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Oshea, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Strathmore FC's Bryson Hicks dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Strathmore FC's zone, Peter Oshea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dugald Fraser came out of the goal and Peter Oshea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jarvis Johnson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dugald Fraser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Randall Haskell came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the PeiPei United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Randall Haskell couldn't finish the play. Jemmett Haberle kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

The wind increased when Jarvis Johnson made the kick off in the second half. Dante Ross kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Jarvis Johnson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Randall Haskell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Oshea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dugald Fraser having to interfere. Boyd Macinnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dugald Fraser having to interfere. Dugald Fraser made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jarvis Johnson in the 65th minute. Archie Wittber's late challenge caught a PeiPei United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martyon Phasey hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Jarvis Johnson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, PeiPei United's Boyd Macinnes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dugald Fraser made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 79 played minutes Strathmore FC got a freekick which was hit by Dante Ross. PeiPei United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bryson Hicks was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 93 minutes into the game, Archie Wittber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Bryden Stevens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
