Spectators: 6828 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 0) Elliot Everett started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Fairylands's zone, Berry Mackney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mack Schulzte came out of the goal and Berry Mackney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Glover got free with Humphry Mcmillan in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wardell's Humphry Mcmillan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Wardell from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, Elliot Everett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mack Schulzte. Fairylands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elliot Everett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Brian Surman hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, Albert Waters was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fairylands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wardell the free kick. A collision led to Fairylands getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Albert Waters hit a great ball. Mack Schulzte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliot Everett in the 22nd minute of the match. Humphry Mcmillan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lewis Lord, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humphry Mcmillan made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Richard Glover sent off a good shot on target. Elliot Everett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mack Schulzte having to interfere. When Wardell's Elliot Everett in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fairylands's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Wardell were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lewis Lord to strike the kick off in the second half. Wardell's Lawrance Tauschke has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 59th minute. Elliot Everett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mack Schulzte having to interfere. Fairylands's Mack Schulzte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliot Everett in the 65th minute of play. Lawrance Tauschke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Fairylands booed when Wardell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Surman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Abraham Plank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute of the match Kyle Bonison sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humphry Mcmillan skillfully saved the ball. Abraham Plank charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abraham Plank the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iggy Trenoweth hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
